We Went Over the Edge—And the Impact Was Incredible!
On April 26th, 2025 over 30 fearless individuals rappelled down the side of The Plaza Of The Americas—not just for the thrill, but for a cause that matters deeply: promoting education and awareness about alcohol and substance abuse in Dallas.
Together We CARE!
Thanks to our generous participants, donors, and sponsors, we surpassed our fundraising goal that will directly support CARE-Dallas programs. Every dollar raised fuels our mission to equip youth and families with tools and knowledge on the dangers and risks of alcohol and substance abuse. On behalf of everyone at CARE-Dallas, we want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible community for making our Over the Edge 2025 event a soaring success!
Highlights From the Day:
30+ Rappellers conquered their fears in support of CARE-Dallas.
Dozens of volunteers made the day seamless, safe, and full of joy.
The rooftop and ground party were buzzing with energy, music, and encouragement as supporters cheered from below.
Most importantly, countless conversations were sparked—about hope, help, and breaking the stigma around alcohol and substance abuse.
More Than a Fundraiser
Over the Edge wasn’t just a thrilling experience—it was a symbol of bravery, community, and care. Every person who went over the edge did so with someone in mind: a loved one, a friend, a student, or a family member affected by addiction or mental health struggles. And through that courage, we reminded our community that no one has to face these challenges alone.
Thank You to Our Sponsors and Partners!
This event would not have been possible without our amazing sponsors, including Presenting Sponsor, The Corrigan-Goddard Foundation and Host Sponsor, The Plaza of the Americas whose support helped make this event safe, fun, and impactful.
